Can a Good Night’s Sleep be Exhausting?

One thing I used to find confusing was how after a bout of baby-caused terrible sleep deprivation, I would get a good night’s sleep and wake up more exhausted than when I went to bed.  I expected to be refreshed and couldn’t understand what was going on.   Through my understanding of Chinese Medicine, I finally realized that I was suffering from adrenal fatigue.

Colic is a Pain in the Back.

As if the back pain during pregnancy wasn’t bad enough – now you are carrying your newborn around constantly, trying to provide some colic relief.   This can make for miserable back pain, on top of the back, neck and shoulder pain you might already have if you are nursing.  A contributing factor to this back pain might be something you have never heard of – a diastasis.
